HIPS - Where to start Under the 2004 housing act, most homes that are to be sold in the UK require an EPC. There are exceptions and to ensure that your property requires an EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) and falls within our area of competence we will require the following:-
- Address and Post code of the property
- Details ( House/flat – detached/semi – Number of bedrooms)
- Age of property (Estimate if unknown)
- Is the property a listed building or in a conservation area?
