Long Live EPCs

It was announced that as of Friday 21 May 2010 HIPs (Home Information Packs) would be suspended with immediate effect, pending primary legislation for permanent abolition.

However, the importance of EPCs (Energy Performance Certificates) was acknowledged and it will still be a requirement for a seller, or their agent, to commission an EPC prior to commencement of marketing.
